And now Georgetown has UM-Baltimore ? Yikes, that's going to be a tough game by rights (DC-Bmore.)

Today's gotten off to a good start, eh?

WKU was a bracket buster for me--I had Drake in the Sweet 16.

Yes, some really good games.

That's a bracket hairline fracture. It's when your champ gets taken out early that it's busted.

Well, UM-Baltimore County. A subtle, but important, difference. Either way, go Retrievers.

Go Retrievers indeed.

It creates some confusion, because there's also a University of Baltimore, a University of Maryland - Baltimore (City) and the University of Marland University College, which in turn shouldn't be confused with the flagship campus at College Park.

Any particular reason for backing UMBC or not backing the Hoyas, Reed?

Ceteris paribus, I gotta go with the state school over the poncey private school. And don't let the John Thompsons' street cred fool you, Georgetown University, as a whole, is quite poncey.

Oh well. It'll be Go home Retrivers.

Although I do have a soft spot for JTIII, after his pretty-good Princeton years.

Big East 5-0 so far, and we'll see if UConn can deal with this pesky San Diego team. If USD wins, it'll be the biggest basketball win in San Diego since the World B. Free and Bill Walton years (uh, make that the World B. Free and Bill Walton weeks - Walton lasted 14 games before his knee tried to do an impression of Jerry Garcia's thumb.)

That woofing the UConn cheerleaders do after foul calls is really annoying.

If one person who was at the St. Petes Times Arena in Tampa Bay complains that they didn't get their money's worth today, be sure to stomp them.

2 OT games, 1 buzzer beater and 1 go-ahead bucket with a second left, and 2 upsets.
