Genius!

I don't know if I thanked you for introducing me to XKCD, Ginger Yellow, but if not... Thank you very much.

My favourite web-based cartoon strips are Red Meat, White Ninja, XKCD and Achewood. Given that list of sick, twisted and downright wrong sites, is there anything else I should be reading? Anyone?

Yeah, I'll second that. Achewood in particular is a work of genius (thanks Clive). But I need more stuff to fill up my working day.

If you're into video games and associated geekery, Penny Arcade is essential.

Oh, don't thank me, Alderman - I've only discovered Achewood since I've been on here! again, I think that may have been GY's doing (although it may have been one of our Stateside contributors). They're the ones you should thank.

Cheers, chaps - I'll check those ones out.

Y'know (and I've said this here before, but...) an 'art-form' that would be well-suited to the web, but is strangely neglected (outside of near-porn dodginess I think) is the photo-love-story. Although Viz's ones were deliberately over the top, I think that the moreorless straightforward ones are so kitsch that they're often hysterically funny. I'd like to see someone do a site dedicated to them, whether new or old.

(The problem is, you look up 'photo love story' on Google and you can tell that just about all the results are going to be horrible porn, so you don't even dare click on them!)

Forgive me, but that sentence doesn't entirely have the Colgate ring of truth about it.

Well... at work, at least!

Actually, I don't think I clicked on them at home, either. Porn is pretty tedious, really.

On the political side, Tom Tomorrow's This Modern World and David Reese's Get Your War On are excellent, although the latter is rarely updated these days.

PBF fans will pleased to here there's a book out.
