The fucking sea.

it's about 20 degrees on one side of the cape of good hope, and about five degrees on the other.

True. The water at the beach near me is fucking cold. Which doesn't bother me much, because I don't like swimming in the sea.

OK, it isn't "cold" in the way you understand weather, GO. But it certainly isn't warm either.

Five degrees (on the Atlantic side I presume)? Wow, that is really frigid. I would have guessed 12-15 degrees.

Have you seen the weather forecast for London recently, G-Man? I would take Cape Town "cold" for a couple of days as way of a respite.

A Chelsea-supporting colleague of mine is off to Mongolia fishing for giant salmon next week, so dalliance's (hilarious) suggestion isn't entirely unfeasible.

Kamchatka is supposed to be the place in Asia for salmon, pretty unspoiled, huge runs that feed the biggest species of eagles and brown bears in the world.

Aw, Linus. You are going to ruin it for all the bears.

Though there are currently plenty of fish for everyone, I would be quite upset if Dick Cheney or the Bavarian Interior Minister showed up.

Well in years to come most of these bears are going to end up in powder form sold as aphrodisiacs on Chinese markets...

True to my username, I very much hope that prediction is as accurate as your supposition as to what Materazzi said to Zizou.
