It is over. Move on.

(By 2010 the Internet will be a dinosaur and OTF will be no more).

No no no, by 2010 the internet will be a dinosaur, but OTF will be the last bastion of retro-geeks keeping the memories alive. Like, you know, 80s disco, 3rd division football, that kind of thing ...

There are two World Cups in the next year or so that I can think of off-hand.

England will make the quarter finals only in both of them.

I think OTF should literally be a dinosaur by 2010.

What about the Learning Disability World Cup in Germany next month (or September) that England will be trying to defend their crown at?

It's safe to say this thread has fallen short of Blockbuster Status.

No "Best for Last" thing going on here.

It's stink-o.

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

[pedant]

The dinosaurs (and associated other reptiles from the same eras [?] were the most successful large land animals this planet had ever seen, over a much, much longer timescale than the mammals have been lording it over the land.

The fact that they were wiped out was due to a catastrophe that could not have forseen, and would not be in a position to avert any more than we could in a similar situation (comet strike, Deccan Traps going up, etc.)

The internet may well be a "dinosaur"; but if so, then it certainly won't be dead by 2010 by means of simple evolution, it'll carry on long after that.

And another thing.

Phrases like

"Do you want to be a dolphin or a dinosaur" are used by the same air-headed consultant wankers who use phrases like "outside the box" and "workshop".

(And they probably have rucksacks, ride bicycles, stand on the left on escalators, etc. etc. etc.)

Steady on the bicycle/rucksack aspersions, or I'll set the OTF peloton on you.
