Never thought I'd say this but we're really missing Robinho.

Major dilemma (not really) in rainy Valencia - If Madrid win I score 10 on the quiniela, ie a prize of about 50p. Also, sad to say, Getafe are more our rivals this season than Madrid. However it would be nice to have an "hay liga" situation and maybe FCB will take their eyes of the lesser prize of the Copa del Rey.

In case anyone just saw the scoreline and thought, same old crap Valencia, we actually played really well last night. Banega, age 19 was skilful and full of fight too and the team was applauded, that hasnt happened too often this year.

Robben scores. Madrid players celebrate at the corner flag. Ref signals no goal, play continues and Getafe score a breakaway goal.

Anyone seen a replay pf the disallowed goal?

Marca says that it was offside, so it must have been.

They also describe the Getafe goal as one of the most absurd conceded by Madrid in its entire history.

Ok, yes apparently Raul was offside. But did the flag go up? If so why the fuck were half the team celebrating at the corner flag?

That Millwall clip is priceless - I haven't seen the Madrid goal-that-wasn't-turned-goal-for-Getafe, but I hope it was half as good as that.

Jesus. Shocking refereeing shouldn't hide a poor performance. From both sides in fact. Can hardly think of a Getafe attack apart from their breakaway goal. Ruud and Raul offered nothing up front.

The difference between the Getafe goal and the Wednesday goal is that the Getafe goal is pure text-book, clinical breakaway goal. The Wednesday one, er well, it isn't. As one of the youtube comments goes -

"I love the way Wednesday almost conspire NOT to score.

That takes real talent."
