I have just sold my Cork-Meath ticket to a Meathman colleague who was desperate to see the match.

He's a bit of a tosser, so it was tempting to charge him far more than the ticket's actual value (45).

Haven't decided yet whether to go to Raith v Alloa or St Johnstone v Dundee.

Then there's Livingston v Dunfermline on Sunday too, maybe.

Tottenham v Derby County tomorrow. Got a lift rather than battle on tubes in view of works on the Victoria Line.

Taking in my first game of the season (apart from p.s. friendlies) on Sunday, when Oxford visit Burton Albion (may see you there, Mr T). Prior to that will probably be playing in my first game of the season as the Oxford supporters team (Raging Fever FC) take on Burton supporters. I expect to be knacked on Monday.

I shall be taking in the delights of a home game for Merthyr taking on Tiverton Town in the opening game of the British Gas Business Southern Premier.

Well I won't be seeing Boris at Burton. Didn't make it out of Banbury in fact. A Car hit a Car which then hit the Car I was in, oh we then hit the Car in front of us.

Went to Stoke-Charlton yesterday.
Stoke were their usual direct, phyisical selves. Charlton seemed rather discombobulated by this, and Stoke should really have won by more than the 2-1 they achieved. Stoke are probably the most physical side in the division, but even so such evidence of Charlton's inability to cope with this approach doesn't bode well for them for the rest of the season. Other managers will have seen and noted. Pardew will be sacked by Christmas.
