By e-mail.

Figures look about right and according to wiki he does indeed live in Allerton.

I do hope he's read this article from today's Times about one of the most skillful English players in the 70s - Martin Dobson, failed manager, youth coach, van driver, civil servant turned novelist.

Apparently not. Perhaps there was a mix-up and he received yours?

Martonn Dobson. Great player, part of a great Everton team.

I'm freelance and know nothing of these 'wageslips'.

£139,000 and some change for one month pre April this year.
Are all 'wageslips' this big?

Yeah, t'riffic.

League Cup runners-up 1977, almost Real Madrid-like.

Seems like the thread, called "Real or Fake", which pictured Riise's payslip has been deleted.

At least he's managed to pay off his student loans.

The Sun story:

quote:
LIVERPOOL ace John Arne Riise's whopping £30,000 a week wage slip has been posted on the internet.

Reds fans got the chance to see if the full-back really is value for money after two photos of his salary appeared on the web.

If the slip is genuine, it means the Norwegian earned a massive £139,000 with bonuses.

However the taxman gobbled up £55,000 for the Exchequer.

The slip, dated September 2006, reveals just how lucrative it is to play in the Champions League.

Riise picked up £15,000 extra for his appearances in Europe's premier club competition.

However, perks do not seem to include free attendance to games.

The Anfield left-winger had £36 deducted from his wages for match tickets.

But despite soaring ticket prices - John Arne should not have to worry about going into the red.
