I've just registered, if it ain't too late. I fully expect to be crap at this, and don't actually have the first clue what's going on (no change there, then).

3 divisions with 3 up and 3 down.

I am slightly pissed off at missing out on even a play-off last season when I finished second in my division.

Yeah that pisses me off too a bit CTT. If I knew ahead of time, I'd never have set it that way. I was confident it would be a playoff game.

So what happens now? Do I go up on the league record or what? I thought it'd be a playoff.

I vote for three divisions, three up and down btw.

If we get enough people, would it be possible to have 9 teams in the top flight, and then CTT could still be promoted?

Woohoo!

And yes, that's a great idea. We'd only need one more team for that, surely?

Ooh hang on here - I could be the Derby/Watford/Sunderland/Swindon/etc. of the OTF league if I get promoted before I'm ready.

Yes, that's a definite possibility. (9:8:8)

We have enough right now, assuming every team continues.

Looking forward to the new season and hoping to be a more active participant than I was last season.

3 divisions and 3 up/down sounds good to me too.

So, how do you play this game? (or rather, how does one play it)?

Alright, almost everybody seems to be on board with option #3, so I'm setting the league up that way now.

Games will probably start in 4 or 5 days.

League games start 1/8/08.

Cup games will start either next Friday, or the week after.

Despite going to a 9:8:8 format, CTT still screwed by the auto-system, and has to play in Division 2.

The lucky stayer-upper? Hornville.
