Having watched 2 draws and a bore 1-0 in the previous 3 rounds at Leyton, Barnet and West Ham, I will be making a return to Underhill this Saturday to catch two teams that I have already seen in this year's competition. It's comforting to know at least one of them will then be completely annihilated in the last 16.

Off to the Emirates...was hoping Adebayor & Bentnor would be given an automatic two match ban with immediate effect for their shenanigans the other night but hey Joey Barton is being shipped in by helicopter so thats alright...

an Arsenal fan has reminded me that last year they played home games against Blackburn twice in the space of a few days and ended up being knocked out of the cup after a replay but the drubbing at Spurs isnt a good sign...

So, we're guaranteed eight non-Premier League teams in the last sixteen? That seems like rather a lot.

There are only 11 left in this round, and 6 play against each other which only guarantees 3 in the next round.

Liverpool, Portsmouth and Derby should win, but no guarantees about Middlesborough or Man City. And why is Wigan v Chelsea on the box and not Arsenal v Newcastle?

"Joey Barton is being shipped in by helicopter"

It would be cool if they dropped him on the pitch during the game.

Preferably from a great height, without a parachute.

The BBC previewed the fourth round on breakfast news this morning with a long piece that began "The game everyone wants to see, of course, is the part-timers of Havant and Waterlooville's trip to Anfield ...".

Well why aren't they televising it, then? Even if it had been Liverpool v Swansea, it would have been a cracking nostalgia trip, loads of old MotD footage of Swansea in Division One, and probably even more chance of the biggest upset of the round.

Luton v Swansea might have struggled to pull in the viewers, though.

Huddersfield are going to beat us.

We've made no signings, Lee Hughes is suspended, Neal Trotman is struggling with injury, and we'll have nine trainees and reserves in the squad (only two of whom have any significant first-team experience)

Curses! - I was going to use the 'we're young and have injuries and a major player suspended' gambit.

1-1

Southend 0-1 Barnsley

Our goal from Jamal Campbell-Ryce won't be bettered all weekend.
Barnsley only win the Cup in years ending with an even number....

Jesus Christ - how on earth was that Robert Huth challenge not a red card?

Reminded me of this.

Also, BBC commentary team - STOP FUCKING PATRONISING PLAYERS FROM THE LOWER LEAGUES.

They get paid 30,000+ a year to do this. It's their job. They SHOULD KNOW HOW TO PASS THE BALL A-FUCKING-ROUND.
