Good luck to those involved

I was involved in moving the main Cardiff City board as the old one was falling apart under the strain.

Let's just say the death threats stop after a couple of months.

yesterday it was Spearmint Rhino who was post of the day - not that I've checked through them all checking if I'd made it or anything ... honest ...

I've just made what may be a worrying realisation.

The simplicity of OTF's board makes it uniquely well suited for reading and posting by blackberry. Anything with more whistles and bells is likely to be much less user-friendly and/or time consuming by that method isn't it?

I think it's only Ursus and I who it will effect to any great deal but it will be annoying.

I made the exact same observation to the new overlords two weeks ago. They may have taken it on board.

I only have one Post Of The Day so far.

This is simply not good enough.

Most of my reading of OTF is also done via a BlackBerry, Harry, so I will also be snookered if the 'new' OTF is too fancy.

I occasionally read OTF on my Nokia, but I can get round it, if needed.

Keeping the board very basic might be a good marketing argument to attract users on the move, a growing demographic, what with blackberrys and G3 phones allowing that to be done rather painlessly...

Hang on , is there some kind of archive of 'Post of the Day' or have Jorge, Don and, I am forced to presume, others been eagerly checking the site every day to see if they've made it?

Flicking through this, I'm guessing that it's chosen largely randomly rather than an august panel of OTF elders sitting in judgement.

Am I missing something here? When I click on the message board link of the new site it brings me back to the current forum.

Blimey. Thanks thp and j/j. I only posted that on a whim. It was just after hearing yet another Tottenham discussion on FiveLive.
