Looks like Donny's 'fantastic' new stadium isn't producing the returns they expected.

Be sure to vote in 'Today's Vote' on the right-hand side of that page too. I voted 'yes'.

It was 78% when I looked - that will be the OTF factor.

By the way is there a story that this question is based on, or is it just a random one someone came up with? "What can we put on the poll today? I dunno. Something about Jesus and hairdressers?"

I was chatting with a guy from a sports community project in Donny - he said they were involved in the design and construction of the stadium, and the wider community were fully involved in this. Then, all of a sudden, the word came from on high, the drawbridge came up, everyone fucked out and the only people allowed in to the design stage and business plan stage were Donny Rovers. It's like the town has a reputation for corruption or something.

Thank you NHH for commenting on the point of this thread.

These new stadiums are rolled into town with promises of vast wealth and end up being a millstone round the football club's neck.

600k a year is around what we're paying for our 14-year-old 24,500 capacity stadium. We had less than 6000 home fans in last night.
