I hope I didn't just hear the BBC R5 bloke say to Kevin Keegan about Newcastle's win "a whole region breathes a sigh of relief". Which KK went along with.

Good fucking grief.

That's like me saying Chris Killen wasn't such a bad signing for Celtic because he won a corner against Shakhtar Donetsk from which Donati eventually scored, putting them through to the last 16 of the CL.

Chopra has four goals in 27 games this season. Those are Jason Lee-esque figures.

Ashton has equalised for West Ham.

Finishes 1-1. Freddie Sears hit the post for West Ham in the last minute after a cock-up by Jagielka had allowed him to race clean through.

Everton will be pissed off about Yakubu's disallowed goal at 1-0, for which he was clearly onside. Maybe the linesman is a Liverpool fan.

just watching reading v birmingham highlights here. dave kitson is a decent player. actually he reminds me a little bit of viduka.

great header by bikey for 2-1 especially as he was carrying radhi jaidi on his back at the time.

quote:
You can thank me for Chopra scoring. I was slagging him off only minutes before he scored. The last time I made disparaging remarks about him, was the opening day of the season, again only minutes before he scored.
Actually, you can thank the South Wales Echo. They were reporting that Cardiff were going to make a bid to get him back on loan. If anything is going to kick a player up the arse, it's that.

Mind you, FA Cup semi-final (I assume he isn't cup-tied)

Paul Wilson's match report in the Observer has left me confused: as a Newcastle fan, am I one of "most easily pleased supporters in the world", or one of the fickle cunts meedja types were making us out to be a few months back?

The man's an arse, giving us grief because we're pleased to have won our first game in months. Oh but it was only Fulham - did he not notice Derby take four points off us this season? Frigging hell, I'm happy with owt at the moment.

''Chopra has four goals in 27 games this season''

its still four more than Alan Smith...although feelings are tempered by yesterdays result and the fact that Im back online after three weeks technical problems..

blackdog etc ....take no notice of Paul Wilson who surely posts on here and as such is warmly welcomed...

Newcastle can have Chopra back if they want him.

How on earth is "done him like a kipper" an example of "Gaelic Football parlance"? Or have I missed the joke?
