The Lyceum on the Strand is a Sam Smiths pub, and has hosted OTF meets before.

This calls for some sort of spreadsheet or multiple-choice poll.

Bah. Will be on a train to Embra. I will use the free wifi to check this thread for pictures which should be posted live from the venue.

How often do these events happen? What are the odds of one happening, say, on the 15th of April?

Why? Are you in London?

I'd think that the chances of one happening then would be excellent. I'd be there for one.

AG, we can pretty much whip one up anytime. Especially if there's an un-met otf-er to prod and poke.

I'm in London that whole week with the wife, but she leaves that day and I don't have to ship out to Warsaw until 6 AM the next day (from Luton, joy of joys), so it might be an ideal time.

For once I can do Thursdays as we're going to press early because of Easter. Not bothered about the pub, as long as it either has a good selection of ales or is a Sam Smith's.

Somewhere close to Oxford Circus would be ideal.

Seriously: being flat broke is a much more pressing consideration than not particularly liking the beer. Lyceum.
