Cant find a thread but watched it again last night. Cant speak to highly of it. A true "family film". A magical movie......as you were.

Spot on.

Lovely comic stuff and nicely world-weary.

Great performances and script with some cracking jokes.

Love this film. Gentle without being sappy.

It's worth tracking down the film the same team made before, "The Castle". Similar sense of humour, modern day setting.

I honestly think "The Dish" will have "legs" and end up universally recognised as one of the "all time greats". Ive never met anyone who's seen it that didnt love it.
The Castle's going on Ms AVS's dvd club list asap, thanks.

The Castle has something too.

There was a Dish thread when it came out and I am glad others have found it to be a really good movie.

Recommendations on The Castle are spot on. "The serenity" will enter your every day conversation.
