This surely merits some comment on here, especially given our collective disdain for Luis Aragones.

Seriously, do these guys think that they are being "funny"?

With apologies to my many Spanish compadres, is there any possibility of the entire nation enduring a short ban from ALL international sporting events? Para animar los otros, as it were.

Until 30 June, say?

The anti-christ has a better image in Spain than Lewis Hamilton. If you look at Spanish web-sites, you can read page after page of racist comments about him and the English generally.

Hamilton gets pole. I thought that the McLarens weren't supposed to be up to much this year.

This thread is about as exciting as the races themselves, isn't it?

This morning's was certainly eventful. We didn't see it, but there aren't many when a guy who goes out five laps from the end manages to record Championship points (or when you have fourth and fifth changing hands on the finish line).

As I have said repeatedly on here, it is a lot of fun in person (at least for us), and anyone interested in joining our annual pilgrimage to Monza should let me know.

I stumbled across the Melbourne race in a fit of insomnia last night, it starting post-midnight EST. Is it customary to lose a quarter of the field on the opening lap?
